Warranty conditions
For all equipment imported and sold by Farwelli Kaubanduse OÜ and Farwell Laundry OÜ, the consumer can submit claims within 12 months under the conditions and procedure specified in this document. The deadline for filing a claim begins when the device is handed over to the consumer (hereinafter referred to as the "buyer").
The warranty period is valid:
- only for those products that have been used in accordance with the product's user manual and that product has been used for the purpose for which it was made. If you want to use the product for some other purposes, a separate agreement regarding the warranty conditions must be concluded with the sales department of Farwelli Kaubanduse OÜ.
- if the device has been regularly serviced, according to the service schedule.
- In the case of equipment installed by an authorized maintenance company of Farwelli Kaubanduse OÜ, the warranty also extends to the installation.
The warranty does not cover parts that are broken and errors that have occurred due to the following reasons:
- from transport damage that has occurred after the product has been handed over to the buyer;
- careless use or overloading of the product;
- in case of non-compliance with the rules of use;
- for reasons beyond the guarantor's control; (For example: voltage changes in the power network, changes in the chemical composition of the heating gas, lightning, fire, short circuits caused by insects, water quality and other external factors);
- if the product has been repaired by an unauthorized person;
- installation errors or incorrect connection (except if the product was installed by an authorized maintenance company);
- restoration to commercial appearance is not covered by warranty work;
- if additional devices (pumps, dispensers, terminals, etc.) have been added to the device by an unauthorized person, there is a possibility to interrupt the warranty period of the device.
Also, such parts that are subject to normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty repair:
- lamps, fuses, glass parts, gaskets and heating elements.
The warranty does not cover teaching the use of the product, maintenance, cleaning, nor the elimination of errors caused by incorrect handling of the instructions for use.
When an error occurs during the warranty period, the customer must immediately notify the seller of the product or an authorized maintenance company.
The warranty does not cover the transportation of the device to the workshop or the conversion or demolition work required for replacement at the installation site. Transport of equipment purchased without installation to and from the maintenance partner is arranged by the buyer.
When submitting a claim, provide:
- product model, time and place of purchase, product number and serial number (these are written on the product label);
- if possible, the error and the conditions under which it may have occurred should also be described.
A defect covered by warranty repair will be eliminated as soon as possible, but no later than within 7 (seven) days (except for delays due to the delivery deadline of the spare part).
Warranty repair is free of charge for the customer. This assumes that defective parts and assemblies that are replaced with new ones belong to the guarantor. If there are differences of opinion between the customer and the authorized repairer during the interpretation of these warranty regulations, the issue will be resolved by the maintenance specialist of Farwelli Kaubanduse OÜ or, if necessary, an independent expert will be consulted.
During the warranty, device maintenance is paid by the customer.
Only a Farwelli Kaubanduse OÜ specialist can perform equipment maintenance. This includes maintenance and inspection of the device.
Equipment connected to the water system is covered by the warranty.
The water system to be connected to the equipment must have the following characteristics:
- General hardness of domestic water: 0.5 to 5° to prevent scale formation in the boiler. If desired, the device is equipped with an automatically regenerating water softener, which must be installed on the inlet pipe. This unit is also available with a polymer sterilization kit (available upon request).
- Pressure: 150 to 250 kPa (1.5-2.5 bar); with higher pressure, more water is used.
- Chlorine ion concentration (Cl -): not more than ~ 10 ppm (suitable value) to prevent damage to steel parts of the furnace.
- pH value: above 7.
If desired, the device is equipped with a separate filtering device that is installed on the inlet pipe.
This unit also works as a water softener by reducing water hardness below 5°F.
